Map switching is all fine n dandy, the issue is filling it up with race gas to tune, then have to drain it, fill it back up with 93, hope thats all gone by the time i get to the track, or drain it again, then fill it back up with the 117 to race.... Pain in the ass... Once I actually have a race gas tune it will be different cuz I can drive there on pump, switch the maps, throw in the race gas, and call it a day... But as of right now Im not tuned for anything other than 93 octane and wastegate pressure...

You're not even tuned for pump gas We did a few pulls and each hit boost cut WAY before the limiter. We will get both pump and race tunes done before the 21st

Chris what kind of issue were you having with the wastegate? Ever think about switch to dual wastegates?

No point. Money better spent elsewhere. That would mean buying another wastegate, taking the exhaust manifold off, modifying the exhaust manifold, etc. It's holding 18lbs on gate which is fine

So should I not be getting on it and doing pulls on the interstate??? OOOPS!!! a/f's look good though, and boost is only around 16-18psi... It's definitely more on the safe side

Sounds good though... I have the gas and I will be getting my rear "slicks" replaced very soon

Actually probably in the next hour or two

The issue wasn't the wastegate itself... The issue I had was the 1 bar spring setup, was actually allowing my car to boost to almost 2 bar haha... Removed the inner spring and just left the outer 11psi spring in, and now it seems to be holding about 18 psi (gotta datalog it to be exact)... Setup is just very efficient... Should be fine for now with the single gate... I would eventually like to do a twin scroll/top mount setup, but thats probably a ways out... I think what I have for now is plenty, and should make for pretty good results...

He's saying if you had two gates a one bar spring would hold one bar dead on. That's all. The issue is band-aided but works and works good. Check your pm's

well this years tax return is probably gonna get eaten up quickly, but maybe next year I will do the top mount/twin scroll/twin gate setup... I wanna do the roller cam setup first though so I can get full use out of a larger turbo... We'll see

Dont rush anyway. Just run what with what you have and modify as you go and make adjustments. the way your car sits, im sure it should run very low 10's..the damn roller cam setup is very expensive if you are talking about the new web cam roller rockers!
