And of I have been asked by a couple people why it didnt make more, etc. This is A LOT of power through an automatic (Powerglide) transmission. Without the converter loss I would estimate with a six speed for it to be at 970whp - 1000whp

Update: Couple shake down passes tonight at the local 1/8. Track prep was ok but could have been better. No complaints though. At 29lbs - 30lbs car went 6.1 @ 124 with a 1.6 sixty. Plans are new tires and take it to the 1/4 on the 30th
