Default Lexus SC300 Front End Service.

Owner: Jason

Customer needed ball joints & had a leaky steering rack that needed to be replaced.



New rack & Supra arms:







Old leaking rack:











Bushing degradation (steering rack)





New bushings:



New bushings install on new rack:





Rack removed:



After a bit of cleaning:







LCA bushing degradation:





New arms....What there suppose to look like!





All done everything Installed...

Update:

We noticed the internal filter in the reservoir on the existing pump was damaged and could no longer perform it's job.

So we ordered and installed a new pump..

This thread is such a detailed one including the photos of which had stolen my attention. would also love to do the same thing with my 96 (encountered an accident just last night) Just wondering about the price including the replacement parts. How much would it cost for an overall repair?
