GSR Head, Cams, ARP Studs, MLS Head Gasket, 100 Shot. Gutted. 12 Second car all day. That'd be the cheapest route. Same setup, stock bottom end. Run a 50 trim, around 10 psi, you're over 400hp...then you're talking LSD, Axles, Clutch, Radials....Then it gets pricey ontop of the whole turbo setup.

With low boost, GE block guard, and a really good tune....you wont have any problems. Sleeves crack from detonation from retards trying to tune their own shit, or run too much boost. Run a thicker head gasket to lower the compression. Excessive cylinder pressure is also a cause of cracked sleeves.

All motor daily driven, 100 shot at the track. As long as it is tuned for the 100 shot.

It can be reliably boosted but like I said...thats where it gets pricey.

GSR Head, B20 block, Cams + 100 shot will put you around the 250-275whp range. Most likely a stage 2 clutch. Exedy, XTD, ACT, Competition are all good. Stay away from F1 Racing, Gripforce, etc. Fidanza or ACT Flywheel, OEM throw out bearing. If you're spending all this money, and dropping the transmission, you may as well go ahead and find a GSR or B16 LSD Transmission. Will help your track times alot.
