Question cable transmission vs. hydraulic transmission

i would like to know which one do ppl think that is better....cable trans or hydro trans

Depends on the car. My cable transmission is better than 99% or hydro transmissions. The YS1 cases are just as strong as the hydro cases, too.

I hear people love the clutch trans because its consistant where you feel the clutch where it lets out and grabs or w/e. IDK I think they went hydro for a reason though since every car now days is hydro.

Don't you get a lighter clutch pedal with hydro clutches?

I prefer the feel of a cable clutch. Every hydro clutch I've driven has no feel.
But they where all Euro cars (BMW 330, VW Jetta TDi, Volvo S40), so idk.

+1 on the cable activated clutch.
My cables have never broke. I have seen Hondas with 250 K miles in the junkyards. Hydraulics slowly go away giving you time to fix it...sometimes..... -Bob

Dont ever go with the cable to hydro conversion kit, you wont like it...

Personally like cable, but wanted to run a gsr hydro on my build but looks like ill just be having a cable b16 with ls 5th.

^Yep. It gets the job done, but where the clutch starts to grab on the pedal is inconsistent. Sometimes its all the way at the top, sometimes a lot lower.
