Sup guys? I got a eg hatch maybe 2 or 3 months ago, and i am curious if i am headed in the "Rice" Or "Nice" direction. I get compliments but im not sure if they are from complete retards or from knowledgable people. It came all stock owned by 1 person, and when i say -ALL STOCK- i mean, ALL stock. To the point where it didnt have a passenger side mirror. Since then, i have managed to do the following mods since then:

Passenger side mirror (lol!)
Amber corners
HIDs (10000k)
EK Fogs (Yellow) (The 2000 front end circle ones)
White GSR Blades
EK Side skirts
Type r Back lip
Mugen Front lip
Dropped it 2 and 1/2 inches.


Here are my further plans
Tomorrow: Duckbill!
This week: Manual transmission and V-tech head with type-r piping.

Something else i have noticed people dont neccesarily get angry about, but say is ricey is when people have a Type-R sticker on a non Type-R car, Would it be "OK" (By ok i mean viewed by most of society, or atleast tr's society lmao) for me to put Type R and Mugen and shit like that if i have parts that are Type R or Mugen etc.

Lol i am thinking for my self, or it wouldnt have came to the point its at. Noone is behind me telling me what or what i shouldnt buy, im asking if im headed towards a good direction with my car. I can guarantee if i woulda put "Im buying a wide body kit for my civic hatchback and painting it neon green! What you guys think!" i wouldve got a shitton responses "EWW DONT DO THAT THATS RICER! Do this:....." lol I am just curious as to what people think about it. -- In my opinion i like neon under glows, but that makes the car look ugly or something apparently, Lol.

 

If you like the neon underglow on your car, go for it. Not everyone is going to agree with you that it looks good bro. Definately get that VTEC head, I dont know what the type r piping is.

 

To be 100% honest with you idk what the type R piping is neither i gotta do a bit more research on it, but im getting it for free #1 and #2 My stock exhaust right now has a leak so its a fix i suppose? Lol i woulda done the neon underglow but i have problem, #1 my car is white, and IMO white underglow is retarded. Thanks for your input man i appreciate it.




BTW I heard that the by changing the heads i would need to change pistons rods etc etc cuz the original vtech motor comes with different ones? Any confirmations/It wont kill my car to leave the stock shit in there for now?

 

even if you where going ls-v you would not need to change that... i imagine you have a non vtec single cam so that means you dont need to change all that.. just slap the head on, take the oil jet out the block then use a vtec timing belt.. theres a couple more things just google Mini me swap and you will find a parts list..

Sounds good! I just threw type R Piping full piping, got a stock canister so im lacking a canister so its uber quiet!!!! I wanna buy a decent canister to make it sound decent. Mini-me swap?
