Default yellow headlight discussion

ok, well i need some advise. i am going to have yellow over lays made by ax digital for my headlights (and aux lights as well). my question is, should i just buy pure white bulbs to go behind the over lays, or yellow bulbs. ideally i would like to run a set of hid's in the head lights and a higher intensity piaa bulb for the aux lights. is there an hid kit out there that is a pure white heat? like a 4000k or something? or am i just wasting my time with pure white bulbs in general and should just go with the yellows. also, does anyone know the legality of something like this? i had yellow tinted lenses with bulbs that werent that bright and did not seem to get any bother from police about it. i am wondering if brighter yellow light will attract more attention.

note: if you dont have anything to add to this discussion, dont post. please dont tell me that yellow headlights are stupid, bc i dont really care what you think about that. bulb/hid related posts only please and thank you.

the cop was nice about it, but i pelled them off right after i left the gas station, it is very yellow, it catches wayyy too much attention, and other drives dont like it either because its very very bright. It was a good idea, and they look retardily sick, but its not worth $165. I would do it for off road tracks, etc.
