I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Yeah I read the nationals edition of the last years SCCA....The entire list looked just like this. Made me grin from ear to ear.

Also, I beat an S2000, straight up by .2 sec in my sohc hatch on the auto-x track.

Nice.

Last year I remember an E Prepared EF beat out an Street Mod Evo by a full second. That made me becasue its not always the most hp that can win the race.

I've always wanted to try this..But I know nothing about racing suspension setups or driving.

I've only set cars up for drag racing.

I took my CRX out there that has suspension for drag and had a blast. I basically had to toss it into a turn, catch it and go. FWD is basically point, shoot and stay on the gas.

Hope you give autox a chance one day.
