Just to be a little more specific...Here is a little Lesson in Integra Chassis Codes. It actually begins with a DA1..but that's for the 1st Gen Integra's which there is no need to post in here. You will find the 3rd Gen chassis Codes in here just to clear up the confusion with the frequently misused terminology of "DB".

DA5 = 89-93 Coupe RXi, TXi, ZXi (JDM Models with ZC Motor)
DA6 = 90-93 Coupe RSi, XSi (JDM Models with B16A Motor)
DA7 = 89-93 Sedan RX, RXi, ZX, ZXi (JDM Models with ZC Motor)
DA8 = 89-92 Sedan XSi (JDM Model with B16A Motor)
DA9 = 90-93 Coupe
DB1 = 90-93 Sedan
DB2 = 92-93 GS-R

the term "DB" is too universal being that it can also refer to a 3rd Generation Integra sedans. The breakdown is as follows

DB7 = 97-01 GS Sedan
DB7 = 94-96 RS Sedan
DB7 = 94-01 LS Sedan

DB8 = 94-01 GS-R Sedan
DB8 = 94-01 Type-R Sedan (JDM)
DB9 = 96-00 ZXi (JDM Model with ZC Motor)

As we all know there are a few other chassis codes for the 3rd Gen Integras, but they use the letters "DC" so there is usually no confusion there between generations. However there is confusion sometimes between the codes listed below

DC1 = 95-00 ZX & ZXi (JDM Models with ZC Motor)
DC2 = 94-01 GS-R Coupe
DC2 = 95-00 Si Coupe (JDM)
DC2 = 96-01 Type-R Coupe (USDM)
DC2 = 95-01 Type-R Coupe (JDM)
DC4 = 94-01 LS Coupe
DC4 = 97-01 GS Coupe
DC4 = 94-99 RS Coupe

DC5 = 01-06 All Integra / RSX chassis including the Type-R & Type-S

 

Thats cool..i really didnt know that. I always thought db was just sedans, db1-90-93 Sedan, db7-94+ sedan ls/gs/rs db8-94+gs-r/type-r but thats madd cool yo

 

Yes DBs arent actually DAs but we still let the DBs in the DA crew, because the DB crew would be like 8 people, and they are pretty much the same car, except just a four door FAMILY sedan.. LOL!!!

 

yo tampa people. proud owner of a DB1 and in the proces of trying to locate a db2. looking for help on the ol school honda community ill soon be residing in tampa/daytona so hope to get into the scene down there as good as im in up in NOVA
