when i have the clutch to the floor at a dead stop and i put it in first or second i start to hear a what sounds like metal chunks clanking around in the casing of the trans. and the car jumps forward slightly about a half inch at a time. first gear is the worst second is getting there havent tried third fourth or fifth. all air is out of lines i have checked for leaks many times any other suggestions are apprediated. also i have to force it to go into second ion high rpms but no grind . when i go from second to third in high rpms it grinds though. any suggestions

 

most honda trannys with a decent amount of mile will grind shifting into third.

How many miles are on your clutch, sounds like one of the springs is popping loose and rubbing the flywheel.

 

the grinding doesnt bother me too much but i guess i will just buy a new clutch kit and pull off the tranny and see what the problem might be i have no idea about the milage on the clutch i bought a 95 4 door gsr for 600 bucks drove it for a while then put it into my 95 hatch car runs excellent exept for that thanks for the info though i really appreciate it
