B-Series Distributors
Are they the same being obd1 92-95 are the same not matter what model and 96+ obd2 are the same not matter what model? There is a place in Canada that sells them for a good price, as thats what they are in the business of doing and when I ask them for the particular year I need, they tell me its the same for 92-95, obdI.
I dont really get your question at all. But I'll break it down as best as I can.
Civics - 92-95 = OBD-1 , 96-98 = OBD-2a, 99-0 = OBD-2b. (The only time the 2a and 2b matter is in ECU harness plugs.)
Integras, I'm not positive about this, but I think...
Integras - 94-96 OBD-1 , 96-98 = OBD-2a , 99-01 = OBD-2b
Now to help you with your question... It doesn't matter what year your distributor is, or what car, ALL B series are compatible, although on the LS and B20 (non vtec distributors) need to have a leg cut off to fit. All you need, for an OBD-1 car, ANY B series OBD-1 distributor, same as OBD-2, for plug-and-play. Also if thats a problem, it is possible to run an OBD-1 distributor with an OBD-2 car (visa versa) by making a distributor "conversion harness."

Thanks for the info and sorry about not being too clear. What I am trying to do is find out if a 92-95 gsr obdI distributor(ANY of the years) work on a usdm obd2 motor. Since they are all compatible(minus ls, b20)you answered my question.
