car idle's at 1500

my car last night just started to idle at 1500 rpm what could make it do this?

my dist. went bad started doing that but it could be anything

thanks but I remember whats wrong with it I forgot to put a hose back on hahaha

could be a hose you forgot to put back in.

lol my car did the same thing it was running at 1500rpm but it was way faster vtec kicked in at 4000rpms but then i fixed it
