probably auto ecu. post up the complete serial number on the side of the ecu and I'll tell you.

the vtec wont engage. but if i run a hot wire to the cylinoid it will turn on, so i made a hot wire with a switch and tried it out on the road and it workes but im only getting to about 7600. so i dont know if its the computer or a short. i looked at the computer when turn the key and its giving me codes but i dont understand them. now on the stalling part it will only do it every once and a while like the distributer is losing power cause after it will stall ill take a plug wire off and put it next to the distributer and i see no spark then eventually there will be spark and it will start. ask me more if you need to thanks

IF vtec is not working then the redline drops. Putting it on a switch is the wrong way to fix it cause the low redline is still there and theres no fuel to help the hich lifting lobes. Try to see if your nock sensor is hooked up and make sure your oil pressure switch is working as well as the vtec sylnoid.. If one of those is out then vtec is screwed...You can check your ecu but dont assume the worst..
