Sensor on Throttle Body?
What is the sensor that is located on the back/side of the throttle body? I cant find a diagram anywhere...

yup Tps unless its 93+ then your talking about map sensor

tps or map what year and car you got not that it matters all are the same from 88-00civic for tps and map are integra93+

00 B18c1...how would you replace it then, if its held in by studs?...and what does it do exactly?

it is a very stupid thing on the engine forit is made to keep its name throttle positioning sensor it is made to keep the Tb at a perfect angle for some reason THE BAD THING ABOUT CHANGEING THESE IS YOU MUST!!!SET IT UP PERFECT TO THE POINT OR THE CAR will not run right i will say if you have the money please take it to honda and let pop the old one out and do the new one i dont no if i even explaned anything just now but when replacing you have to MARK and set the new one perfect thats all i can say

Do they sell just the sensor...i've found a diagram and it just shows the tb as one piece to purchase.
