Angry computer prob

I have a whole list of problems 1 is my car doesnt start but if i run a hot wire directly to the starter the car will start and i have a viper alarm sytem maybe the kill module on the alarm is stuck. second prolem is my car lost alot of power, i have a b16 and max rpm is 8200 and it doesnt go that high it did befor so now i shift at around 6000 because it is pointless to go any higher because there is no more horse power. now i have another problem im just driving and the motor will just shut off sometimes i try to give it gas befor it stalls but it want to die anyway i think it may be fuel pump or something cause i have 14 volts on my diggy in the car but even when the car idels it will give a couple of noises out of the air filter then it dies if any one can tell me anything it would be helpfull thanks

the coil and igniter could possibly cause the shutting off problem and there is an out side chance it could cause the lack of peek power if coil is weak.im guessing the igniter isnt bad and the mechanic is guessing both to cover his ass. as for the starting just take the alarm out of the loop by reconecting the wires to ign switch to see if it starts.if you are going to do the work yourself id go buy the coil or borrow one and start there.good luck

also on the vtec have you done any work on or near your gauge cluster, ecu, engine temp sensor(below the dizzy). I did some work on my cluster and didn't have the speed sensor wire hooked up, so vtec never knew it was over 20mph. same thing on the ecu end. also when I first got my swap back and the vtec wouldn't kick in the jerk off hadn't connected the wire for the engine temp sensor, if you know the solenoid is good or if you replace it and still no good look at the 3 things needed for vtec, engine temp, rpm and speed. one or more of these sensors/wires could be tits up.
