Whatcha think? Bent rod?

The piston on the left is #2 and the one on the right is #4. The cars compression was 210-210-225-185 (185 was #4).

This is on a B16.

Look bent? just a little?

And if this rod is "bent", but symtoms might the car have had?

oh, and what would you do? Time for CTR pistons? or just fix it and maybe spend the $$$ on a B18c1 block?

With cost of rebuilding the bottom end of your 1.6 "the right way".
I would spend just a tad more get an ls block and build an ls/vtec .
I know a great builder to talk to. P.M. me if your interested.

that rod is bent so little im surprised u even noticed. what made u take the motor apart?

what kind of power-adder made the rod bend???

and if u need another rod i got one laying around at my house u can have

what power adder? none that I know of.... Just going over this motor in the hatch that I just picked up. The B16 in it had some "Problems".
