ls/vtec/turbo question
my plan was to get a gsr block, sleeve it and bore it to 84mm, b16a head and boost it. the problem is it's hard to come by gsr blocks. what if i just went ls/vtec, sleeves, bore to 84mm, pistons and rods. think it would be just as good? what else would i need besides pistons and rods. i want to make some where near 370hp. this is with hondata also. thanks guys.
if i HAD to pick one id say GSR but it really doesnt make a whole lot of difference if u dont plan on revving it high. keep in mind youll have to spend a little more to covert the head over the ls/vtec. if i were u id find a gsr with a busted sleeve for cheap make sure all the crank journals are to spec and just send it away to get machined and resleeved.
