what sound would a water pump make if it went bad...my motor is making a weird noise coming from that direction on that side of the motor...also every time i rev the motor the timing belt loosens up would this make a weird noise? could it be the tensoiner bolt?please let me know....im going krazy trying to figure this out...if anyone has an idea please let me know...

Doubt it is your water pump. What kind of noise is it? and when does it happen?

 

i tightened the timing belt and there was like a little knock noise...the motor was idleing erratic so everytime it would idle up it would make the noise when it went down it would stop,then we revved it up to about 5k about 3 times and the timing belt was loose as shit..it loosened by it self but you can tell everytime the belt vibrates back and forth it makes the noise....coould it b the tentioner bolt?

 

it might be the tensioner pulley it may have a bad bearing
or a waterpump bearing......... hard to tell from this end
