Default Advice on 4th gen air conditioning

Ok, before my swap my compressor went out. I have the full R134 conversion so I can use any year compressor but I need some opinions. I can go D series with the HASport bracket and save myself some headaches or I can get a B series compressor and use a stock B series A/C bracket and worry about clearance issues/line splicing. I'd much rather go the HASport way but am up for anything that could potentially cost less. Any suggestions welcome.

well obviously, but i also don't need a shiny ass billet piece to do the job. i've got some pictures and advice on how to make my own by modifying the B series bracket, i think i'll give it a shot
