welded differential?
anyone ever welded a differential? i have mine welded and the only thing bad about it is that it never stops being posi. even on turns. it makes a screechin sound as both sides try to work. That kinda sucks. besides that its perfect for the track. anyone else done this?

elaborate. can anyone state an opinion. i used the tranny for track use mostly so its not a bad idea for that purpose. do you guys have real opinons or are you gonna keep hitting quote and submit reply?

If it is for straight line use only then great. Although I wouldn't be surprised if you go through that tranny in a short period of time.

With LSD your transmission will move the power band around. I dont really know anyone that has ever actually welded the differential. I am sure you are wearing tires down on turns very easily. You may want to start over and get LSD if you really want it. Could be HAZARDOUS in the future.
