if its the same as the sir2(99spec) then it should fit. i had a jdm sir2(99) ecu in my old 97 gs-r. so its a possibility.

Yes it will fit, you will however see no real gains from it except it's massive redline and timing advance. You prolly wont make power past your normal curve.
