Default H22a Euro-R Accord vs H22a Jdm Prelude

Okay Heres the stats:
JDM Euro-R
10.6:1 11:1
Dual Plain Intake Single Plain Intake
Basic Cams Aggresive Cams
190hp@7200 220hp@7200

is the compression, intake and cams the only thing responciple for the hp increase or is there more to the story, and further more will parts from a 1994 Jdm h22a fit the 98+ euro-r h22a???

so its resonable to assume that with crower stage 2 cams and je 11.5:1 compresion pistons in a 1994 JDM h22a would put it over the euro-r's 220hp mark??

Hey ~Boost Freak~,
There are a few more differences. Like the the Type-S and Euro A come with a 62mm throttle body and an intake polish job from the factory. As where the usdm and jdm have a 60mm and dull finish. As for the trannys. I don't believe there the same either. The Euro A was built with the Autobahn in mind so she's probably got longer gears to get to those top speeds.
As for you getting Crower stage2, some 11.5:1 pistons, don't forget your I/E/P and any other bells and whistles, and you should kill the Euro A.

I/E/P Intake/Exhaust/Pulleys
the other bells and whistles would be Header, Apexi Vafc, Hi-flow cat, some ignition upgrades, Port and Polish, all the little bolt ons plus your crower stage 2 cams and some type-s pistons. All that mixed even into a USDM H22A, and you should be eat'n JDM and Euro motors for lunch, and for less money.

You say you have a JDM. The only real difference between the JDM and the Eruo A would be the IM and the Compression ratio. You already have a great platform Just build it up. If you want Euro A #s for less money, just buy the type-s pistons, some crower stage 2 cams, and the Skunk2 IM(when ever it comes out(Its single stage with longer runners and a larger plenum)), and your #'s will be kicking the shit out of the euro a's .
