question about a swapped crx
I was thinking about getting around to building an engine for an 89 crx that I might be gettting. My only question is, how hard is it to street drive a fully built b20/vtec, maybe b20/vtec turbo. I've heard it never stops [peeling out and is very prone to breaking lsd's and b16 gears. I know a bit about the engines, but just not the strength and quirks of a honda tranny. i saw these mega offset rims from summit that allow some crazy wide front tires, I wouldn't mind driving around like that, but I don't wanna be rebuilding a tranny every other day. feel free to chime in please
works great. They might break stock diffs if you do alot of burnouts with sticky tires but an lsd like a quaife won't break on a street motor. Run an appropriate clutch and you should be alright.
