Default when doing engine swap

does wiring for vtec matter??? if i want to put a vtec engine in it??? i read somewhere that only the VXs and Sis came wired for VTEC

but although on Canadian-made models and all '92s and some '93s, the under-dash VTEC wiring exists but is not connected to the engine wiring harness

what does that last part mean??

some models the wires are there and you just have to connect your vtec wires on the motor to them..others you have to run the wires yourself....which im not sure how to do

You have to run 3-wires
for vtec to the ecu
you also have to repin in correct spot to the ecu .I know
all the correct pin locations if needed...........
