Compression question
just a question, ok, there is a product out called, Restore....
now it says it will fill in scratches and what-not and increase compression around the piston rings , overall its suppose to help higher mileage engines with everything....does anyone know if its actually true or if its BS...??? i know if you have major damage to the wall it will not help it tooo much thats common sense...just a question

it acutally works fairly well, but you need to do it every oil change or the effect wears off.

i am not sure but i use them anyway, hell we will throw away 6 bucks on an airfreshner if they say it will make us go faster right...

like I said, I actually used it on my old motor with noticable results. A buddy of mine ( slowy ) still uses it every oil change in his GSX

It could be a plausable temporary solution to my compression problem, until I can put together a block.
Where can this stuff be purchased at?
KJ: Ive also noticed (yesterday and today) my vaccum has returned to where it SHOULD be. ~18in vac.
Is it possible 10K miles into the rebuild my rings are seating? I seriously doubt it, but im gonna do a compression test dry vs. wet and see.
My car is also feeling MUCH faster the last few days. 7psi will rolling burn through 1st everytime.

KJ and Cronic let me know what you think about it? the product whats it called? I would like to see if it will restore my compression. Does anyone know how it works?
