what kinda power with this setup?
ok here it is yet another question which doesnt protain to any of the other question ive posted. i have a 97 hatchback (dx) with the sohc vtec head, vtec controller, msd sci ignition, header, intake and full exhuaust, what kind of power am i looking at? is it worth the time, and effort. and will i notice a considerable difference once its all together? any help would be appriciated.

you will notice a little but not much, now if you port/polish head, and bore it out that makes a big jump but its alot of money, most sohc engines i have owned havent been very reliable(maybe its my driving, go figure) so you might just go with the b series swap
about 120@the wheels.

Im gonna guess you have somewhere w/in 110 to 120whp. 90-100tq.
You don't really have much to tune. If your interested in the D motor, go with boost. don't bother with an all motor D series setup. You'll hit the max somewhere around 190whp and thats a few thousand away.

stick with the D my friend but if you want to go really fast boost or juice the s.o.b. i have every bolt on imaginable on mine and its still not as fast as it should be but i beat stock si's 2000's and 03's
so its not slow either up to you but don't jump the b series bandwagon
