Lst Or Lsvtec?
hey guys i was wondering, what set up would in the end result in the most enjoyment? theres the ever growing in poularity ls/vtec and then theres the awesome boosted ls motor. this will be going into a 97 hatch back if that makes a difference in any opinions. im just trying to get pros/cons and opinions on this subject. all help and suggestions are appreciated. thanks

LSVtec are pointless, they make power but not as reliable as if you just did a GSR. if your going to mess with an LS at all do a turbo, they own!

LS all the way, they can handle it well and with a few mods you'd be in low 13's all the way, meaning the drag kit, skunk 2 intake manifold, hondata, and a bit of internals

lsvtecs can be reliable. Mine had over two years and over 35k miles on it, never had a single problem with it. I tore the motor down just for the hell of it and everything looked perfect on the insides. I'm not saying one or the other but they are reliable if you do it right, at least as reliable as a turbo ls.
