Over heating...
Okay, this is really starting to piss me off.
Just replaced a blown headgasket, clutch, fly, pres. plate. there is NO thermostat in the car, (gutted one)
and today on the way to work, the car starts to (slightly) overheat! WTF!? There is water only in the radiator, as I was going to drive it around, then flush it this afternoon, and add coolant+water.
What in the hell could be wrong? I hope the headgasket didn't go already, Im not even pushing the car... sigh. I let it sit when I got to work and SECONDS later it was rising fast... help?
What else could be the problem?

I may be completely off here, but if you dont have a thermostat that could be your problem. The thermostat regulates how much coolant (or in your case water) is going through the system, If you dont have a thermo, the water may be moving to fast through the system to be sufficently cooled by the radiator.

You need a thermostat, without one the coolant is moving too fast for effective heat dissapation.

Just buy a new d, and a REAL turbo kit, complete with a turbo timer, intercooler (bigger), and a better fuel system or poormans hondata... Definately invest in an EGT gauge if you are going to Run the existing setup.... but personally, I think it's your turbo. If it's always blowing hot your going to keep breaking shit.
Instead of a new setup you could get CMR to rebuild what you got, or at least check it out...
Just my $.02

Thanks for the info though, but my breaking shit is due to mechanics not installing things properly. Such as rings, and bearings. I wont go into my drawn out story. It is possible to put together a very working setup without paying for a name. Besides, I do things non-conventionally. Ive learned a hell of a lot more this way.
