radiator fan help

Default radiator fan help

I’m having problems with my radiator fan in my 89 crx si with a b16a swap, I have checked my fan and my fuses and their both still good but the fan still won't turn on can anyone help?

my crx had the same problem so i wired it to my ignition switch so it runs whenever the engine runs everyone said i was going to burn up my fan i ran it like this for two years sold the car i saw the kid who bought it and it still works just wire it like that

same here, runs fine been running like that for about 3 years now and temp. stays low.

check the relay. It could also be the fan motor itself, did you hook up the fan switch coolant sensor when you did the swap?

about running the fan constant:
Your ecu gets a reading from the TW sensor, which is a thermoresistor. If the motor stays too cold the ecu will think the car still has not warmed up and it won't run as well as it could. I'd find out why the fan is not working and fix it.
