Got an all motor b series motor with all the bolt ons (header, intake, exhaust, straight pipe, cam gears) . Has anyone tuned one of these and felt any gain at all? Just trying to get some positive feed back and if u did, what were your number settings.

 

i got impressive gains with mine, but i also have itr cams....either way you would have to have it dyno tuned in order to get anything from it

 

what if your running a 98 gsr is it worth it getting it tuned because the ecu will take over 3 days later. is that tru?

 

I have seen some impressive gains (with good tuning) with the VAFC.

 

Never GUESS when tuning! You may just blow up your motor.
Like everyone else said before, take it to a dyno and have it tuned properly. The numbers on the VAFC are different for every car.
As for hp, on my Mini-me A6/Y8 motor I got an 11.5 whp increase with the APEXi VAFC.
