Anyone familiar with...
a coolant temp sensor...where exactly is it and is it hard to change? I just gave an arm and a leg to get some shit checked out at this gay ass shop near my house...and they are telling me that this sensor is causing my irradic idle and the reason why my water in my radiator and overflow starts to boil after a while and for the temp gauge to not go up?????

There are several coolant temp sensors on the motor and they all go by nearly the same names.
The two wire sensor on the thermostat housing is a switch for turning the fan on.
The one wire nipple plug sensor near the distributor reads temperature for your gauge cluster
The two wire plug on the head near the one wire nipple plug is the TW sensor I believe and it tells your ecu when your car is warmed up. This sensor can cause bad idle. When it is bad it usually throws a code 9.
