Should you be able to turn over a motor with the timing belt on and spark plugs in?
and have no trannie on? D-Series issue, No plugs - turns fine, w/plugs feels like i got mad compression, but then why would I not be able to turn it with the plugs in,
Me turning with everything in is like im acting as a starter? Right? Fucked up motor or just my head?

no, your not acting like a starter unless the key is in the ignition and turned to the on position. the reason it turns easy with the plugs out is because all the compression escapes thru the plug holes in the head.
