question about b17 head
yea my friend has an old skool gsr, b17 and he has a skunk 2 top end everything iz dun and im gettin him a b20 block. like slowbutstylin sed itz a b16 head, but if u do go with the b17 head shave it port polish and redo the top end with sum good shit not rigged dun right it will b hot......

Also, a bit off topic, but why get the shitty sleeves on a B20? Why not just resleeve a B16a2 motor to 84mm and have 2.0L a perfect r/s and the best flowing head Honda makes?

ok, so in other words if i put better cam in the b17 head, and do machine work to it ( which i had planned on doing to any head i acquired) the heads equal out ot about the same. as i said i was considering this for ls/vtec. any other thoughts, opinions ect would be appreciated. thanks
I've had experience with all dohc vtec heads for b-series and they are all about equal with exception being the type r. All will do nicely with an lsvtec setup, the gsr b18c1 head will have about .2 higher compression than the pr3 casting heads.

lol i dont really care i cant afford the typer head....the b17 is somewhat in my pricerange since my friend might sell me his for a the money i have...i just need to get this motor together. about the compression cant i raise that by using jdm b16 pistons?
