my engine light came on today, while driving normal

but recently i think my catalytic converter has been acting up, rattling at cold starts and sounding pretty rhaspy at times

do you think the cat might have thrown the code?

im calling the dealership tomarrow, just looking for a 2nd opinion

You can prolly pull the code if ya want.. but I wouldn't bother. The dealership will fix it under warranty, so I wouldn't worry unless it's something crazy..

do you mean the cat will throw a code or will a F**ked up o2 sensor will throw a code? b/c I've never seen a sensor type deal on the cat.

 

the sensor will throw the code because the sensor picks up somthing wrong with the cat

 

they reset my ecu yesterday and ordered me a new cat......i get it next week.....but guess what? i threw it again thanks to my current piece of shit cat......grrr
