fields VTEC question
hey, this is a stupid question but, can you wire the fields VTEC controller to read RPM and function correctly on a non-VTEC motor. (for use as a tach) TIA

I don't see anything fundamentaly that wouldn't allow that. If you are going to hook it up for a tach you might as well use it as a fuel controller also.

ok, because i want to hook it up on my 97 hatch, and im building ls/vtec for it. the point is the dx hatch cluster has no tach. so i was think if just splicing the wires needed foir the rpm in. but you think i can also use the fule controoler aspect also? do you know anyone that could wire this for me? any help is much appreciated. tia
