early next week i'm tossing in a full ls swap probably, and tempted on doing a lsvtec soon after, whats the difference between the heads to use like b16 vs b18c? and what kinda hp would i get off the stock ls tranny? i dont have much cash to work with so i wont be able to get a b16 or gsr tranny.

im building ls-vtec as well and im gonna use a b16 head. everyone has their own opinion about a gsr and b16 head. ls tranny will work but not as well as a b16 or gsr tranny will. your horsepower will depend on your internals

i say piss on all you ls tranny haters LMAO tell me that the corvette has short gears............nope that is what i thought ya got the right gears just give em enough power to make up for the longer gear and youll go faster heh heh.

the tranny has nothing to do with the power. however the wrong gear ratios will slow your car down. all power is dependent on the parts used. dont expect much more than a GSR with the same mods
