I just purchased an adjustable cam gear and i'm hoping to rob my top end some for a better launch im thinking 2 degrees retarted should do the trick however my question is what are the tourqe specs on the adjustment screws and the main bolt should i use threadlocker i have never installed one on any of my other engines so i don't know any advice is welcome

 

Why not just have a shop like Secret Services install/tune? I wouldn't trust the butt dyno when tuning the cam gear(s)... good way to break something... local guy here in SRQ has a shop and he "tunes" cam gears by taking the car for a ride and just adjust until he thinks it's set to where it will make the most power... needless to say this moron has fucked up quite a few cars in the area by doing this... and take a wild guess what tv show he is now the host of? Yup... he's the fat, ghey, bald guy they have as their new tech/host/whatever on High Rev Tuners... Owns a shop here in SRQ called "Why Drive Stock" .. but anyway... I'd take it to a reputable shop like SS ... just my two cents....
