Default Help h22 swap

I finally got my new ecu(p13) today and i was hooking up the vtec, i am using the stock h23 wiring harness to do so, i took the green/yellow vtec solenoid wire extending it and plug it in with the jdm plug, now i took the blue vtec oil pressure wire and did the same and i grounded the black wire. When I ground the black wire the tachometer quits and the vtec still doesn't work with the vtec solenoid and oil pressure plugged in,. Can anybody tell me what i did wrong.

The 1992-1993 Chassis Preludes were *PRE* wired for a VTEC motor. What I did was lay both harnesses out (H23a1 and JDM h22a) Look at the large plugs that plug in near the fuse box on both the JDM harness and the USDM harness. You'll notice that on one of the JDM plugs is has a wire that the USDM harness does not. I then cut the shielding off the JDM harness and traced this wire back to it's source. Then using a very small flathead screwdriver I removed this wire from the JDM harness and added it to my USDM harness. Then you'll notice that over near the fuse box (little past the front strut) there will be a green/yel wire. This is your VTEC wire ... remove the VTEC wire from the JDM harness and add it to your USDM harness and then just plug it in. As for the black wire, I just grounded that to the block with the rest of the wires in that "area". Are you using your H23a1 distributor or did you use the JDM h22a distributor? If you want hit me up via PM and I'll take a look at it for you.

yeah you ae right i figured it out a little after a wrote the post, different shade of blue. Yellowh23a i used the h23 distrubutor(is that how you spell it). There the same as a usdm h22, but the jdm has internal coil. it runs great now.
