HELP PLEASE!!!...OVERHEATING PROB!!
alright people...im having probs with my 91 ls teg automatic...I have a new radiator and have replaced 6 hoses in the last month...its been cold latly the past few weeks...when I drive lets say on the gandy brigde...im going say....65 -70 mph...my temp gauge goes down to COLD...then wehn i stop and idle....it goes back to the middle like its warm...why is that???...
When you are driveing there is a shit load of air running through your radiator wich would make it cooler.
My car does the same thing. same kind of car.
Are you running only water in your radiator i noticed mine doing it when i use only water no antfreeze or waterwetter.

just water = bad
actually a faulty thermostate can cause overcooling problems. does it seem like it takes a long time for you car to warm up?

change the thermostat and run a toggle switch to your fan to run it when you want
