ex oil pump or si

Default HELP ex oil pump or si

i wonted to know on a 93 DX motor can i fit a 93 EX oil pump,or is there no diffeance?i figured a ex needs more oil so it stays cool,so way not make my dx stay cool,or is it a bad thing?all so on the mini me swap on a crx motor to a excrx theres a lettel thing on the top of the block or the deck i gess its called well its like a lil plug but i wonted to know if i can take it out and get even more oil or just that with out the pump or just one of them let me know

Well if you have a vtec cylinder head on what ever type of Dseriess block then you need to take that oil jet out ,thats if you want your vtec to work proper,& IT WILL BE A GOOD IDEA TO USE A 92-95eX or Si oil pump.I have one if needed...
