LS/Vtec Questions??
What would be the neccesary parts to go ahead and make my B18a an LS/Vtec motor? I was under the impression that I need new heads and a new ECU. If that is true what would be the best heads to put on, to get the maximum hp and reliability? Also what are the pros and cons to a LS/Vtec?
vtec head, ecu, new water and oil pump, pistons, rings, umm thats about all i can think to get started. thats what i have at least

don't forget arp rod bolts, head bolts, dowel pins, oil feed line, new ls head gasket, and thats it
but to make it reliable get a block girdle to supply the bottem end with extra strength for those high rev's
in order to use the girdle you will need a gsr/type r/ moroso oil pan b/c the ls is too shallow to house a block girdle
if you are gonna do lsvtec do it right or you will break shit
