need help with transmission removal

Default need help with transmission removal

Have a 90 civic hatch, I've removed all the bolts for the transmission and the front will start to separate but the back seems to not wanna budge???? Any advice is there some hidden bolts I checked all over. First time doing it and am very frustrated any help is appreciated. Thanks

did you take the starter out?did you take the flywheel inspection cover off? and the two bolts the face the other way?

Starters off, fly wheel inspection cover off all possible bolts are off this thing unless like I said there's one in some crazy inside place but I got the two you are talking about.

This is an old thread, but the problem still occurs for some people.
For our readers, what did you find was holding the trans in?

With some Hondas there is a motor/trans support/mount at the back fastened to the rear cross member.
