Default ok im having a reeree moment, lug stud issue

went to change the tire on my eg civic and the stud is just spinning with the nut. so i picked up new studs and to my understanding i have to have the bearing pressed out to change the studs? my wheel is still on the car and the suspension apart. wth should i try next? thanks for any input guys. Devin.

Good luck same thing happens to me... The splines either stripped out of the hub that holds the stud in or the stud backed out so its not grabbing... I had to basically heat thru it and grind and cut needles to say that wheel was screwed... When u put the new studs in place 4 little tack welds around it so u don't go thru this again
