Default H22a ECU

hey another question for you guys
I looking for an ecu, but I can't find an p13 in the tampa area.
I heard of using a p72 Integra GSR or even a chipped p28 i think thats from a sohc vtec motor. What are the pros and cons about using a gsr or p28 ecu.

tru, r u sure a sohc vtec would work for a dohc h22 vtec engine? doesnt seem like it would but if it does thats straight. how well does a gsr ecu work compared to p13?

Both the p28 and gsr ecu will run the motor a little lean on top and therefore probably make more power. The gsr vtec x is way too low for the h22a engine. The p28 will need to be chipped and it will not operate the secondary butterflies on the prelude manifold.

I'd stick with the h22a ecu.

ideally, find a p13. i ran a gsr ecu, and it made more hp but less tq; however, it did run a little too lean for me to comfortable without the proper tuning i got along with it. right now i'm running a hondata p28. no butterflies- and while the dynoes are identical to the gsr ecu dyno, you can notice at low-throttle driving the lack of the torque that the butterflies gave. . . .
