Default NEED HELP! H22a swap in 96 accord wiring issues

i just bought a 1996 honda accord with a H22a swap. Its running a P28 chipped ECU. the vtec hasnt worked since i got it even tho the owner claimed it was. new to the honda world so i assumed so as well. However i cant hear the crossover at all and even when i do get on it it gets to about 6k RPM and it starts to break up and then the CEL(check engine light) comes on. if i stop turn the car off and then back on the CEL goes away, and will only return if i again romp on it and get into the higher rpms. i looked at the wiring for the vtec solenoid and the vtec pressure switch and the wiring seems off. nothing matches anything i have found online looking at numerous wiring diagrams.

this is the wiring from the pressure switch, every where i read says it should be a light blue wire and a red/black wire. the blue goes to the ECU and the other gets a ground. i got a orange and black wire hooked to two wires, a green/white and a blue/yellow which is grounded. im not even sure if its the right plug.

this plug here seems like it might be in the wrong location as well. this right below the intake manifold, you can see the Vtec solenoid on the far right for reference piont

any help would be awesome. thanks in advance.

*UPDATE* so i traced the wire from the p28 ecu and the blue/yellow wire was the one that was on the d6 pin on the ecu, which i read was for the pressure switch. seems to run better but i still get sputtering past 6k and sometimes get a check engine light that clears when i simply turn the car off than on again. it doesn not return unless i rev the car while driving past 6k rpm. not sure where the green/white wire goes that was wired in with the blue/yellow that goes to the vtec pressure switch.still cant hear any crossover for the vtec.

If you have time sometime during the next week or so you should bring it by Proven Power and let me take a look at it. I'm sure I can get it figured out for you.
