Can anyone explain Pro/Cons of a ZEX Kit???????
I've been using my Zex kit for about a year now (55-shot) on my Rex. One of the major differences form Zex and most other manufactures is their shot is rated at the flywheel and not wheels like NX, NOS, etc. My friend has been running the same kit, but a (75-shot) for as long as me on his 97 Prelude. And he's just starting to smoke a little when he accelerates hard (rings). But I've yet to have any problem on the 55. Me personally, I would rather spend 500.00 vs. 1,500.00 and up trying to get 55hp all motor...... If you do decide to go with n2o, I would recommend you upgrade your fuel pump. Zex uses your fpr to richen your a/f mixture. With any other dry kit you don't have that. That's why most people will steer you toward wet kit to avoid running lean and getting detonation.
