#2 ls rod????

where is the #2 rod suppose to be located on an ls motor?? is it suppose to be in the #3 cylinder?

the number on the rod has nothing to do with cylinder location. the number 2 on the side of the rod is matched with the letter stamped on the crank to determine bearing color.
