Cooling fan

Default Cooling fan

The coolant fan wont turn on in my car. I changed the relay and I still cant figure out why it wont come on.

Any ideas?

Have you applied power to it and made sure that the motor is good? Take is to Honda and let me tell you. Once they tell you fix it your self. It the part costs to much just in stall a switch.

burn't fan motor or possible radiator fan switch i think

Yeah I hooked up a manual switch to it and it works fine. Well it looks like I'm gonna have to just hook up that switch again.

yup thats what happened to mine i had a bad wire somewhere so i just hooked up a switch.

A big problem that is over looked is the fan relay. A very cheap and simple solution, these have a tendency to go bad over time. It is a small black box about 2"x1 " and is located next to your air inake.

on the thermostat housing there is a 2 wire plug, it goes to a thermal switch, with the car running unplug it and short the 2 wires inside the plug, if the fan comes on the thermal switch is bad, if not then it is in the wiring or the relay.
