Default GSR motor in 96 civic coupe....Which intake

Hey I recently had a GSR motor installed in my 96 civic coupe. I need an intake bad and i want one that goes from the throttle body and through that hole that is right behind the headlight to get into the bumper. not down and around. If anyone has any clue on which to get im lookin at AEM or Injen.
thx

The intake connects to the intake manifold.....neither of those are gonna go into the fender....they are gonna go down into the bumper. If you want one that goes into the fender, you're probably gonna hafta custom fab one.

Just stick with the stock air box, it looks clean and stock

Then you need a short ram not a cold air......cause the only "hole" behind the headlight is where the stock air box sits.

No, I have seen them. Like on the 97-01 preludes, the cold air fits through that hole that is behind the headlight in the frame type piece of the body. I have seen some that go down and around into the bumper but i want one that goes through that hole.[/img]

buy a short ram, and a piece of the same size flex pipe and some zip ties and some of those rubber things to connect em and you have instant cold air intake/ram air. and when it rains it only takes about 2 mins to set it back to sjort ram

Yeah, that's on a prelude....your civic doesn't necessarily have that too. just get a short ram, or deal with where the cold air goes into the bumper.....whats the obsession with it going behind the headlights anyways?
