I know obviously it would be easier to put in a obd1 motor into my 5th gen coupe...but If I wanted to get..say a 99 or 2000 usdm Si engine ...how much more of a pain would it be to perform this swap into my car?

i believe wiring would be the only thing... ask KJ...

Just wiring, distributor and ecu are the only different things.

You may use an OBD2 distributor and repin it to OBD1 specs but most people just the a DOHC VTEC obd1 dist to make their lifes easier.
